Established and co-coordinated teen court for Jackson County. This program was an after
school non paid position to give first time offender (juveniles) a second chance rather than
being placed into the judicial system,
This position entailed the operations, court proceedings, coordinating with the youth jurors,
attorney's and monitoring the offenders social work assignments.
As a co-coordinator we worked closely with the judicial system in helping the youth to turn
their lives around.
