Work Wanted: Caitlin Terry and Dan Jessel
(RV: 2004 Keystone Fifth Wheel)
About us: A hard-working, positive duo with a strong passion for travel, people and the outdoors. Each of us has spent over 15 years working in bars and restaurants across the United States and abroad. After dedicating the past year to renovating our beautiful 2004 fith wheel we're prepared to start the next chapter of our lives doing what we love: camping, exploring, and meeting new people. While this will be our first workamping position, our experience working where we live ranges from jungle treehouses in Nicaragua (Caitlin) to military bases in Germany (Dan) remote islands in Cambodia (Caitlin) to golf courses in the Pacific Northwest (Dan)-- There is nowhere we won't feel at home!
Seeking a variety of positions across the United States. Ideally, we would each work part time for FHU only with the ability to commit to outside service industry positions for the season OR work in service industry positions that are paid beyond the hours required for FHU. We are open to any new adventure and living anywhere that isn't too cold in the winter.
Skills and Experience:
Dan - 37 Having worked a variety of service industry positions from resorts in Germany, to resort casinos in Connecticut, to fine dining in Washington, Dan finds himself very comfortable in any setting.
He has 17+ years of experience in the restaurant industry behind the bar, in the kitchen, and management of both, with a focus on bartending. He has also worked in apartment maintenance and am very capable in terms of household repairs inside and out. He's spent his entire career working with people and is very comfortable doing so!
Caitlin has worked waiting tables and bartending for the past 15 years. She is very skilled in all things customer service in addition to the 'behind the scenes' job duties: cleaning, stocking, and finding quick solutions to infinite little problems. A university graduate she feels comfortable in her competency with general office work and a self admitted neat freak at home she is confident in her attention to detail. Among her many adventures she helped run a treehouse hotel in Nicaragua as well as a bar/guesthouse in Cambodia; both positions required attending to guests needs, checking guests in/out and various maintenance tasks.
