VA: USDA Forest Service, Blacksburg, Virginia. US FOREST SERVICE – CAMPGROUND HOST POSITIONS in BLACKSBURG, VIRGINIA -- The George Washington and Jefferson National Forest – Eastern Divide Ranger District in Blacksburg, VA is looking to fill 4 campground host positions for the 2019 season at the following locations:

Cascades Day-Use Area https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/gwj/recarea/?recid=73639
All sites have water, sewer and 30/50 amp hookups. Cascades Day-Use Area has phone line with DSL capabilities. Propane is reimbursable.
Duties may include: daily servicing of restrooms, grounds keeping (weed-whacking, mowing, leaf blowing, campsite tidying, etc.), litter patrol, meet and greet of visitors, disseminate information and provide excellent customer service. Wood working skills are a plus as special projects may be available.
Season generally runs from May – October though earlier arrivals and departures can be accommodated.
