IL: Double J Campground, Chatham, Illinois. One of our work camping couples had to cancel unexpectedly, we are looking for another work camper for the 2018 season.
Double J Campground a Good Sam 10-10-10 rated park, is looking for campers to help in the Camp Store/Welcome Center/Registration office for the 2018 season. Working two short days a week and every fourth weekend leaves plenty of time to relax around our pool, visit the local Lincoln sites, Chicago, St Louis, Indianapolis, Hannibal and many other spots a short drive or train ride away.
Our beautiful 125 site park on 25 wooded acres with all pull-through, full-hook up (includes WiFi and Cable TV) sites is always full of tourists and families relaxing in central Illinois.
We swap a site for couples that work to help in the office and escorting at this owner occupied/maintained campground. Park is open all year, campers needed April 1-Oct 31. Options for a shorter stay available.
Duties include, working in the Welcome Center registering campers, serving customers and taking reservations (Computer Skills Required). You will also escort campers to their site and do some light maintenance around the park, like empty trash cans, cleaning fire rings, and general park/pool clean up.
Typical campers work 2 six hour shifts per week then every 4th weekend. As owners, we work all holidays.
