ID: Cabins by the Joe & RV, Avery, Idaho. We are looking for an honest, self-motivating and dependable camp host couple to stay right on the beautiful St. Joe River in Avery, Idaho.

We offer a number a benefits with this position including a place to stay, income potential and light work load. Special projects are available for experienced team members. There is a gift shop, gas pumps and small grocery store in town.

POSITION SUMMARY: Ideal for a couple with their own RV interested in a quiet beautiful scenic setting in the remote town of Avery, Idaho and surrounded by the St. Joe National Forest. Lots of outdoor activities - fly fishing, hunting, hiking, site seeing, river rafting and The Route of the Hiawatha Bike trail is 7 miles away. This is a small RV/Cabin park with 10 RV spaces and 4 cabins.

Our website, has pictures of the cabins and RV spaces. We are also on Facebook with additional pictures. As the reservations are intermittent, we will need flexibility where there may be days that all cabins will need to be prepared for new guests arriving the same day. On other days there will be little to no work required since the cabins will be empty or not need cleaning. The RV spaces require little oversight. The scope of work required will include, cleaning the cabins (linens, bathrooms, beds, floors, kitchen, light maintenance), welcoming guests, answering questions, taking garbage to local refuse at the end of town, watering flowers/lawn, mowing the grass, reporting on supplies, collecting onsite funds and ensuring the guests are taken care of. We also sell ice. The main goal is to keep our guests happy and the facility clean and welcoming.

You will be the only on site hosts. Must be able to lift 25lbs and walk up stairs. This position requires you to stay from early May

until Oct 15, 2019. Site hosts work a minimum of 15 hours per week (including weekends and holidays). Hosts may take time off during slow times in between reservations (special arrangements must be made in advance). Honesty and dependability are critical for this position.

Special Projects: These projects can be structured to the camper’s interests and talents and are compensated via bonus separately from the duties above. Building expertise is a plus.

BENEFITS INCLUDE: • Free campsite equipped with water, electric, sewer hook-ups and basic satellite service. • Compensation for cabin cleaning. Bonus paid upon completing time commitment. • Complete orientation and job training.
