Guest Services and Maintenance Team Member positions at the Green River KOA
We are looking for camping enthusiasts to join our Work Camper team at the Green River KOA. Positions include Guest Services (Office & Camper Registration), and Maintenance/Grounds Team Member. Guest Services Team Member: Responsible for guest registration, front desk, and store procedures while delivering great guest service. Maintenance/Grounds Team Member: Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. Responsibilities: Guest Services Team Member: Duties include answering phones and making reservations, greeting campers as they arrive and checking them in, answering their questions about the campground and local attractions/activities, stocking the store shelves and maintaining retail merchandise in good condition, cleaning the store (vacuum, sweep, dust, windows, etc), watering plants, housekeeping, etc. This role will involve handling money, both cash payments and processing credit cards. Onsite and online training is available if needed. Maintenance/Grounds Team Member: Duties include general campground maintenance such as cleaning campsites, pool maintenance, plumbing and electrical repairs, mowing lawns, watering grass, leveling campsites, repairing fences, painting, and housekeeping. Mechanical skills and general handyman "know-how" are a big plus for this job as the equipment will need repair from time to time. You will also need to be able to operate machinery ranging in size/power from a lawn edger to a small tractor. Qualifications General position requirements include: Guest Services Team Member: General computer and phone skills, and friendly customer service. The ability to learn how to use the computer and web-based registration program is a must, however, our system is not complicated and training will be provided on-site. Hear and speak English fluently. Maintenance/Grounds Team Member: Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical. Valid drivers license. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Guest Services Team Member: Ability to respond to telephone calls, hear issues, give direction while viewing computer screens Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance Long periods of standing Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel Maintenance/Grounds Team Member: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance Long periods of standing Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb Must be able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel Able to travel by auto Able to work inside and outdoors frequently and in various climates Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain Additional Information: Because this is a Work Camper position, applicants would need their own RV to live in on-site and as part of compensation the RV site and utilities are included at no charge.
