(an aspiring work camper asks...)
Were you able to get our Work Wanted ad up and posted so that we can start getting some replies to it? We really want to start camphosting as soon as possible and would like to hear from campground owners right away so that our dream can come true. So could you please post our ad soon?

Coleen, the working while RVing editor replies:
I received your ad and posted it on the website. It has actually been up for several days now.
I think the reason you haven't received any responses is because of the way the ad is written. I think you need a better Work Wanted ad.
Here is what I suggest for how to write a better Work Wanted ad: When you write your ad, keep things positive -- say what you can do. Show the campground owner how you and your wife would help them. Tell the campground owner what education or experience or skills you and your wife have that would be assets to the campground.
Leave out negative information. Skip the part that says what you cannot do.
It is the campground owner's job to hire people who can help their business succeed. It is not the campground owner's job to help you make your dream come true.
Write a better Work Wanted ad and Focus your ad on what you can do for the campground -- not on what you hope they can do for you!
Rewrite you ad following my suggestions, and I think you will start to get responses. Good luck in your camp hosting job search.
