(Best Work Experience in Eight Years of Work Camping)
This park is in Benson, AZ just off I10 and basically in town. A Safeway and Ace hardware are less than a 5 minute walk and the Walmart is about 10. We spent the winter of 2011/2012 workamping there.
We have been on the road working for over 8 years and this was the best experience we have had. The managers are knowledgeable and eager to help make your experience a good one.
Although there is no pay, the benefits are excellent with free propane, a $100/mo allowance for electric, free entry into all paid park events, 3 days on and 3 days off, and only 6 hour workdays.
The park is pretty modern with many pull-thru sites and back-in sites for the workampers. All sites have 50 amp electric.
The surrounding area has lots of interesting things to see and do. Tucson is only 40 miles away. Bib-box shopping is in Sierra Vista about 20 miles away.
