Background: Tom recently sold his business interest we owned for eight years in "dba" Lake Buchanan Adventures Inc. - An outdoor education and recreation company. We're in the business of providing fun & offering a wide array of services to accommodate guests during their stay at the Canyon of the Eagles Lodge and Nature Park.

Designed and implemented goals for economic impact, park development strategies, financial goals, service expectations, pricing models and programs. Guided kayaking tours, pontoon boat rentals, planning and executing event schedules, operating a summer food concession stand, providing land based activities that included geocaching, nature hikes, and birding tours.

A majority of Tom's career was in marketing and sales. CEO of a successful software company managing all aspects of the business operation including sales, vendor/supplier relationships, pricing, employee considerations, marketing and advertising, all P&L responsibilities.


Janet has assisted visitors of all ages while working for Lake Buchanan Adventures. Jan's specialty is assisting visitors by looking up local area information and helping solve lodging and campsite problems. We are ethical, hard working, professional team players and take pride in our work. Typical park hosting duties coupled with our management experience.

• Greet campers, answer their questions and orient them to the park and region.
• Understanding and able to explain (not enforce) park rules and regulations to campers.
• Being accessible to campers for comments and complaints.
• Assist with the campground reservation system and bookkeeping.
• Assist with campground maintenance: pick up litter, clean campsites after guests check out, replenish rest room supplies and assist in keeping the bathrooms clean.
• Set example for others by keeping our host site clean and neat.
• Other projects or assignments based on park need utilizing our skills and experience.
