Wanting Warmer Winters - Retired couple ( Paul-65 Romona-66 ) seeking employment from Nov.to April (4-6 mons.) perhaps longer, in exchange for full hookup campsite with the possibility of availability of additional hours with monetary compensation.We are an honest and trustworthy couple with over 6yrs. of working in a camping enviroment. Paul just retired from the Illinios Dept. of Natural Resources where his was a Site Tech 2 at a State Park. His duties were security, normal park operation and maintanance, from site cleaning, bathroom cleaning, mowing, painting and some electrical work. Romona has been a year round campground host for over 6yrs. My duties have been greeting campers, assisting them in getting settled,writing permits and collecting the fees. I take concerns and complaints from campers and refer to appro. staff or agency I assist in keeping the park looking inviting by assisting with the cleaning of the park and bathrooms. I make the campers aware of park rules. I'm available for late night concerns or emergencies. I make myself aware of park and community activities as well as local churches and pass this information on to the campers. We are looking to relocate from Il. to a warmer area.
