OBJECTIVE: Workamper

SUMMARY: We are interested in applying for your workamper positions for October 2009 through April of 2010. Ken is interested in the light maintenance, repair, a lawn maintenance position, sales and registration. Maureen is interested in registration, light cleaning, and cooking.

EDUCATION: Ken: Cass Tech High School class of 74
Courses taken included: Automotive, specialized automotive courses, A plus computer certification, journeyman machinist: covered for commercial, automotive, plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling
Maureen: Redford Union High School class of 74, Schoolcraft Community College class of 79 Applied Science Degree in Nursing, Washtenaw Community, University of Phoenix Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2000

EXPERIENCE: Ken worked for many years as a mechanic at local dealerships. He last worked as a mechanic for Northwest Airlines 1986, and some of his duties included computer repairs.

Maureen has over 30 years in the Nursing field, most of the time at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Worked with Insurance companies, admission processes, and patient care. Also office manager in a Physician’s office, Assistant manager with Kentucky Fried Chicken prior to Nursing, and worked as a camp nurse for a few years for Detroit Metro Girl Scouts

We have recent experience working the last 2 seasons 08 and 09 as
workampers at Detroit Greenfield RV Park(former KOA). We primarily worked in the store with registration, sales, rental, propane and light housekeeping duties. We are familiar with KOA Kampsight and RV Tripsetter soft ware.

Advantages: Ken is qualified in hardware and diagnostic repair on computers, vast knowledge for most maintenance repairs in cars, motor home, and home repairs.
Maureen has experience with office software: excel, word, group wise, and billing soft ware, as well as minor experience with catering.


We have both camped for many years and we are looking for a warm climate this winter.
