WORKAMPING JOB NEEDED - My husband and I are presently living in Florida. We just finished managing Suncoast RV Resort in Port Richey, Florida and had been there for 2 ˝ years (3 Seasons). My husband was told he has C.O.P.D. and diabetes back in March of 2009 and he will be on oxygen for the rest of his life. So I am presently looking for work since the owner let me go because he said he needed a couple to work the park. We got a lot of the activities started and ran most of them with suggestions and help from our guests when we first got there because they had nothing going on at all. He set up lights for dances, parties, dinners, karaoke’s, etc. We have our own karaoke equipment to run them and dances. The guests loved the karaoke and dances. There’s not much my husband can do now as far as physical labor goes cause he’s on disability & has to where oxygen 24/7, but he can show guests to their site or do karaoke shows he can still sing, help run activities and do karaoke’s or dances also do security to help cover on his part of the site if needed otherwise it would just be myself. I’m 57 years of age and my husband is 54.
We have a 1997 Dutchman travel trailer 31ft with a super slide in good condition.
One small dog-Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix-18lbs.
We’ve worked as workampers at 3 different parks in Texas 3 years ago so we know all aspects of the RV Park business.

Palmdale RV Resort in Los Fresnos, Texas where my husband only had to work. They had nothing for me so I had to try to find a job outside the park and I was well qualified just didn’t speak Spanish.
No money to be made there so we headed back to Florida and accepted the manager’s position at Suncoast RV Resort in Port Richey, FL
. Suncoast RV Resort is a family park and we’re ready for a change with something more permanent. I would really like something a little more stable with a deceit income to support myself. We need to stay in Florida for the present time, but am open for other options.

I have computer skills, internet friendly, knows Microsoft word & Excel. Also familiar with a couple of different campground management programs such as Parcs, Roz & campground management.

May 2002- July 2004 East Bay Dry Cleaners in Largo, Fl
Duties included managing drive thru store, assisting customers, tagging in clothes, doing all reports pertaining to the store I managed.
August 2001-February 2002 worked for Hickman County Board of Ed/transportation, Centerville, TN
Duties: Safe transportation of students to and from schools and school functions.
I also work for a CPA part time during the tax time period about 4 months.
November 2000-April 2001 Alderson’s Dry Cleaners, Columbia, TN
Where I managed their Springhill store assisting customers, tagging clothes in, opening and closing of store. Balancing the register.

I like bowling, ceramics, dancing, country music and oldies, doing karaoke’s, fishing, and camping, swimming, horseback riding.
Since our daughter went into the Army about 3 years ago maybe longer we have enjoyed the camping life but need something a little more permanent now and enjoy living in Florida. I’m very interested in a management position or office work.
