Work Wanted Resume: Larry & Gloria Sturm

by Gloria Sturm
(Eudora, Kansas. USA)

Hello. Our names are Larry and Gloria Sturm. We live in wonderful Kansas. We are hoping to get back in the RV life after several years back at home. We need to find a workamping position that will at least give us our spot, and preferably some pay also. We will be willing to work 20 hours at office and light maintenance for a parking spot with hookups, with pay for anything over that. I also would be happy to set up a craft program for your park. I have taught craft classes for many years. If you would be interested in setting up an arts and crafts program I would welcome visiting with you about it. I can do crafts for adults and children.

Now a bit about us....

My husband Larry and I are both retired. Larry is a mechanical sort, and can fix a lot of things. He was a mechanic for 35 years, and also did a bit of farming on the side. He has been known to make his own piece of machinery if he couldn’t find what he wanted at a price he could afford. He is very ingenious and can figure out most mechanical problems.

I retired from our local newspaper several years ago, where I was the bookkeeper for the classified department and was front line in customer service issues. In other words I was the problem solver and PR person for the classified department. Throughout my adult years, I have been interested in the creative arts. I have made baskets, and porcelain dolls, and jewelry, to name a few, but my love is greeting cards. I design greeting cards and write my own verses. My cards can be found at The Emporium in Baldwin City Kansas, as well as on many of craft websites. I would be happy to set up a craft program for your park. I have taught craft classes for many years. If you would be interested in setting up an arts and crafts program I would welcome visiting with you about it. I enjoy working adults and children.

I enjoy writing, and blogging, and have written articles for various newsletters, and have even published newsletters for our church and for our District United Methodist Women’s Organization.

Several years ago we were camp hosts at Lake Cascade State Park in Cascade Idaho and loved the experience. We will be good hard workers and will give you our best. Please feel free to contact us anytime.

Sincerely
Larry & Gloria Sturm
