Work Wanted Resume: Ken Whiddon & Edie Underwood

by Ken Whiddon

Hello, A job was presented to us in the state of Colorado that Edie and I have accepted. This commitment from us will begin 1 May 2011 through 1 October 2011.

We are now looking and considering a new job down in the southern states of these United States starting on 15 October 2011. If you have only a one month, two month, three month, etc. that you will/may want us, then please so advise and let us talk.

We wanted to introduce ourselves to you and the following idea for your consideration, to see if we make a good fit for you:

We will provide to you, WORRY FREE TIME OFF FOR YOU and the following superior functions hereby outlined:

We will each work four (4) hours per day, five (5) days a week for a combined total of forty (40) hours per week. (4 hours a day x 5 days a week x 2 people = 40) for #1 below.

The following areas would be our typical duties in your campground:

* answering telephone in office,

* assisting customers checking in/out of the campground for day-use and overnight camping, computer based registration,

* assisting customers, plus general administrative duties,

* general maintenance duties, including: campsite cleanup, trash pickup, restroom maintenance, various projects as needed,

* assisting with special events: hot dog roasts, pancake breakfasts, etc.

* If you have a store on site: cashiering, stocking shelves, taking inventory and preparing lists for goods needed, assisting customers with checking out and keeping the store clean.

This is what we are asking for in return for the above:

1. Compensation includes a full hookup with the following:

a. A level (hopefully also shady) site that will easily accommodate our 2011, Thirty-Three (33) foot Class "A" motor home with two (2) slides and our tow car which is a 2010 Kia Soul.

a. Electricity at the highest amp available (preferably 50 amp) on Site,

b. Potable Water Hookups on Site,

c. Sewer Hookups on Site,

d. WiFi on Site,

e. Cable TV on Site,

f. Free use of Laundry Machines (Washer & Dryer),

g. Meals provided to both of us on days that we are working and

h. You also will consider, NOT REQUIRED, providing a "monetary bonus" to us upon satisfactory completion of this proposal/agreement between us.

As noted below, the value of the site provided to us will be excluded from our gross income for federal tax purposes.

2. Work week to be no more than twenty (20) hours for each of us (these hours are applied to #1 above as condition of employment),

3. We welcome additional hours but please no more than fifteen (15) additional hours for each of us per week, and the Hourly wage to commiserate with level of work,

4. Minimum of two (2) consecutive days off and

5. Seasonal work only with maximum stay with you of six (6) months.

The following must be included in our "Work Agreement". Per IRS rules on lodging/compensation (irc1.119(b)): In order to properly perform our duties, we are required to accept employer provided accommodations as defined elsewhere in this agreement. The value of the accommodations will not be included in our gross income.

If our needs meet your needs, let's talk. And, of course, everything is negotiable.

It would be helpful if you would email us a list of actual duties for each position along with the compensation for each, if different.

We have included our resumes for your perusal. As you can see, we are both ready, willing and able to work.

We are not set on any particular jobs but would hope that you can use our abilities and talents to your advantage.

We have also included in this email from us to you pictures of ourselves.

Make us an offer we can't refuse and let us know; as soon as possible, as we would like to set up our new adventure. An email from you with an agreement or disagreement of consideration would be most appreciated.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope that we will be the perfect match for your organization.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read the above and hopefully respond to it.

Until then, ...life is too short and it is a choice!!

Sincerely,

Ken & Edie's Motto Is:

"Live, Love, Laugh"

We Are Two Traveling Fools Enjoying All That Life Has To Offer!!!
