Greetings Prospective Employer! We are beginning our 6th year Workamping. We have just completed our 5th year at Townsend/Great Smokies KOA and part of the summer at the Polson Motorcoach Resort and KOA. We will be completing our current assignment in the Outer Banks of North Carolina at Labor Day. We are currently looking for Summer work for 2010. Thank you for taking the time to read our resume and letting us tell you a little bit about ourselves. We have been married for 32 years and have two grown children. We both work independently and are both self-motivated. Our goal is to make other campers feel welcomed and valued.

Townsend / Great Smokies KOA, TN (7/19/2008 - 10/31/2008)

Cleaned sites as campers depart. Also worked on electric and plumbing issues. Experienced in pumping propane and maintaining pool on a daily basis. Also worked on all types of mechanical issues that would arise. Also assisted campers with issues about their rv.

Polson / Flathead Lake KOA, MT (4/15/2008 - 7/14/2008)

Escorted campers to their sites. Cleaned sites and maintained the pool and spa. Also certified in pumping propane and CPR certified. Also did weekly mowing and overall up keep in the campground.

Townsend / Great Smokies KOA, TN (3/5/2007 - 11/11/2007)

Worked in maintenance cleaning site as campers departed. Also was responsible for daily maintenance of the pool. Fixed electrical and sewer problems. Also helped in construction of new cabins. Assisted in other construction projects. I also helped on Saturday night with the movie night at KOA.

Little River Village Campground, Townsend, TN (4/1/2004 - 11/13/2006)

Little River Village Campground seasonally from April 2004 to November 2006. Duties were: cleaning sites, working on electric and/or plumbing issues in campground. I also maintained the pool on a daily basis. Also filled propane tanks at our store. I assisted in construction of new cabins. Also did some carpentry work as needed in the campground. Little River Village Campground was sold to KOA in February of 2007. My wife and I returned March 2007 to what is now Townsend/Great Smokies KOA.

Greeted campers with a cheerful smile as they enter the campground. Made reservations on Kampsight and registered campers. Answer phones to make reservations. Assisted campers regarding the local area. Rented bicycles and tubes (in season). Balanced register at end of shift. Also with the assistance of Jimmy, helped with the Movie night at our outdoor theater.

Polson / Flathead Lake KOA, MT (4/15/2008 - 7/14/2008)

Made reservations and registered campers. Also worked in Kampstore pricing and stocking shelves. Maintained and cleaned restrooms. Also assisted outside with up keep of flowers and shrubbery.

Townsend / Great Smokies KOA, TN (3/5/2007 - 11/11/2007)


Working in the Welcome Center making reservations and checking people into their sites. Answered emails from interested campers. Rented tubes and bicycles and assisted in the Movie Night on Saturday.

Little River Village Campground, Townsend, TN (4/1/2004 - 11/13/2006)

Worked seasonally at Little River Campground. I worked in the Welcome Center making reservations for campers. I also checked in campers as they came in. Greeted the campers at the front gate to direct them to their sites. Rented tubes and bicycles especially during the summer. Balanced register each night before closing. In February of 2007 KOA purchased Little River Village Campground. We are currently at the Townsend/Great Smokies KOA.

Slide outs description:
5th wheel is 36 ft. with 3 slides. One slide is next to front door (Dining room and couch. The second one is opposite side (entertainment center) and one for the bedroom area.
