Work Wanted Resume: Jim and Laura Hobbs

by Jim and Laura Hobbs

E-Mail: jimni5er@gmail.com

We are seeking a part-time camp host/worker position for the 2010 season in exchange for a full hookup site and possible salary. We are currently camp hosting in Illinois, and will be available May thru October, 2010.

A little information about us: Jim retired early as a Deputy Chief Mechanical Inspector for the Orange County, Florida, Building Dept. in 2007, after working there for 15 years. Prior to that he was a supervisor for a commercial air conditioning company for over 15 years. Laura was a paralegal for over 25 years, and after an early retirement she did charity work for a couple of years, worked briefly as a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant, and then started her own cleaning business.

Jim is experienced in most phases of construction and can do almost anything when it comes to repairs and installations. He also has very good customer service skills as he dealt directly with the public and personnel while working for the Orange County Building Dept. He was personally in charge of over 10 inspectors, and was also responsible for public relations. The Dept. received many letters from customers and contractors praising Jim for his professionalism and courtesy.

Laura also dealt with clients on a daily basis while a paralegal, a CNA, and also as a business owner. She has computer experience, and has also volunteered as a cashier/clerk for a charity thrift store.

We are both perfectionists and when given a job to do we will do it to the best of our ability. We have been campers all of our lives, full-time RV’ers beginning March 2008. We are very friendly and outgoing, and love nature and most outdoor sports, including hiking, fishing, and kayaking. We can be reached at the above e-mail at any time, and we will gladly provide a picture of us and our rv upon request.

We hope to hear from you soon.
