Work Wanted Resume: Jim and Jackie

We are a MARRIED COUPLE looking for a couple of gigs that will enable us to serve as work campers and to use our small (19’) Renault Winnebago LeSharo motorhome. We are 60 and 58 years old, with a variety of experiences, skills, and aptitudes. Our own travels have taught us the needs and priorities of people who are on the road. My name is Jim. I have lived most of my life in Arizona. Jackie is Ojibwa from Canada. Last fall and winter we traveled in Italy and Argentina. We are now equipped to travel and work in the U.S. and Canada with our two Great Pyrenees dogs. All of us are personable and industrious.

I have worked as a hospital administrator and as a cabinet maker. I spent nine years doing restoration of art, cabinets, and furniture with two different companies. I also weld, fabricate with steel, and speak Spanish. Jackie uses three different Bernina sewing machines in the process of remaking and resizing clothing. She produces her own designs and modifications in anything that relates to fabric. She has done customer service in education, promotional products, and real estate management. She has a long history of economizing through reuse and recycling. We are flexible, fair, and outgoing. We seek to begin our work camper career.



Our intent is to find positions that will enable us to hook up our motorhome and BE A PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, CONTRIBUTE, AND COLLECT STORIES about the people we meet. Our first objective is to find a place where we can work during the WINTER, at least until past the New Year. Our goal for the SUMMER is to live and work in an interesting location in Alaska. Remote locations appeal to us. Jackie can work culinary miracles with basic ingredients.
