(Everywhere, USA)

Loving The RV Lifestyle

Loving The RV Lifestyle

Young...Vibrant...Full-Time RVers Who Love To Travel We are both 50 years young, married for over 11 years and continue being the best of friends. We had partnered up for about 7 years undertaking our own tile installation business. Jerry did all the masterful creating of the tile placement while I handled the administrative side of the business. We have always enjoyed working together so we know we want to continue doing so and are ready to move on to our next phase in our lives. Together as a team we can give you a non-smoking, non-drinking, drug-free, reliable couple looking for opportunities to enhance their lives. If you don’t see the experience you need on our resume, just ask, we probably have it, but if we don’t, we will certainly figure it out.

In addition to the many years Jerry has had in the tile industry he is also very knowledgeable in many other aspects of the construction area. Drywalling, framing, stucco, mud and tape for drywall, painting, rough electrical and some plumbing. He can repair almost anything he sets his mind to do. He is a jack of all trades and a master of many others too. Some of the other positions he has held are Custodian, Mechanic, Store Clerk, Stock Person, Cook, Dishwasher, Server and Manager. He is always willing to learn new things and is not afraid to ask for help when he needs it. He loves working with his hands, enjoys people, is open to learn new skills and has a wonderful sense of humor.

I am extremely organized, I enjoy learning new tasks and have a positive upbeat attitude that allows me to smile, laugh and have fun while I work. Prior to our own business adventure I had many years in the office environment that has given me experience that I bring forward. Some of the positions I held were Data Administrator, Technical Writer, Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Manager at a Golf Resort, Restaurant & Bar Manager, Waitress, Cook, Chef, and Cashier. Some of the different systems I have mastered are Campground Master, Campground Manager, Internet, Windows Explorer, Lotus, Lotus Notes, Excel, Microsoft Word, Access, Photo Editor, Project, PowerPoint, WordPerfect, DOS, and Macintosh/Apple. I have the ability to pick up new systems quite easily and may already have the experience you may require but have not listed it.

The summer of 2005 began our new lifestyle of Workamping and we spent it at the Kaibab Lodge at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Jerry did maintenance which included plumbing, electrical and even roofing and I greeted the guests at the front desk, served the guests in the restaurant, as well as many other duties.

The summer of 2006, 2007 and 2008 we managed a small campground in Minnesota and really had a great time learning the many different aspects of a campground. We managed employees, did all the ordering for the store and maintenance of the campground among keeping all the guests happy.

Beginning in 2007 and into 2008 we did a lot of traveling around our country and worked at many of the NASCAR race tracks. These jobs include gate operations, security, ticket booths, information booths and also sales.

The winters we usually spend in Phoenix decorating homes for the holidays, warehouse organizing, and taking care of the Light Show. We also worked at a Wal-Mart Super Center, Jerry as a stocker in the grocery department and I worked as a cashier and are available for rehire whenever we choose to go back.

We have our own RV, it is a gently used Class C and even though we keep it looking it’s best it is an older model and if you have a problem with this, you may want to pass us by because we are not looking to impress anybody, we are living this lifestyle to meet wonderful people, do plenty of sightseeing, have fun and enjoy ourselves, even at our jobs.

So friends, old and new could follow our travels in our new lifestyle we have created and maintain our own website, please feel free to visit us at www.hittheroadjackenterprises.com for further information and see all the ups and downs on venturing out of our comfort zones. Share with us the many challenges we go through once we have sold everything and have started living the life that we have dreamed of for so long.
