We are Jim and Dottie. We are seeking a workamper position: Jim in maintenance, janitorial, or lawn care, and Dottie in office, store, or reservations. We are both energetic, hardworking, self starters, with good work ethics, who love people, children, and animals. We would like to tell you about our work skills. Jim after 31 years working for the phone company, Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) retired in 2003. He has phone and customer service skills, knows electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, and has mechanical ability. He can operate and maintain equipment ie., mowers, lawn power tools, front end loaders, etc. After 5 years as a custodian in an elementary school he has skills in grounds maintenance, detailed cleaning of floors, bathrooms, furniture, and the use of all types of chemicals for cleaning. Also, Jim has experience with maintaining swimming pools, including cleaning and chemical maintenance. Jim is always willing to take on any job. Dottie has worked in an office environment all of her working career, accounts payable, and was an office manager for a family business. She worked in admissions at a 180 bed skilled nursing facility. Dottie loved being with and taking care of the residents and their families. She has good computer skills in Campground Manager, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc., and phone and customer service skills as well. Dottie has also worked in a high school cafeteria preparing school lunches, and as a cashier. As Jim, Dottie is always up for new challenges and will take on almost anything. Jim and I have been RVing most of our adult lives and love it very much. After years of preparation, we are ready to live our dream of Full-Time RVing while we are still young and healthy. Jim and I want to stay active by continuing to work as workampers and work as team members. We have worked for Morgorn RV Resorts, and Cabin Creek Campground, N. C. We are both positive people with flexibility, many work skills to offer, and we are always ready to learn new ones. Our rig is a 2009, 40ft 5th wheel that is pulled by our 2008 Ford F450.
