Campground and RV Park Experience

May of 2010 ~ September 2010

Hoodoo Recreation, concessionaire, Host/Attendant, Delta Campground/South Fork complex, (USFS) Willamette National Forest, Oregon

Responsible for hosting 111 campsites in 8 Forest Service campgrounds on the South Fork of the Mckenzie River. Duties included compliance/collections, security, cleaning and stocking of 11 SVts along a 22 mile twice daily route, including Terwilliger Hot Springs.

Provided campers with area information, informed them of fire regulations and other rules/restrictions.

March of 2009 ~ October 2009

Arizona High Country Campground (Commercial), Salaried Manager, Clay Springs, AZ.

Responsible for guest reservations, site assignments, check ins, small convenience store operations, propane pumping, site and facilities cleaning, basic maintenance (Simple electrical and repair/simple construction-painting etc) weeding, mowing and simple landscaping/repair. Developed and published new park map.

Summer of 2008

Alpine Camping Services, concessionaire, Heartbar Campground (USFS) in the San Bernardino NF, Ca.

Stipend, Weekends only, Assistant host and maintenance/security. Cleaned and stocked SSts in 94 site + 1 group site twice daily, provided campers with area information, informed them of fire regulations and other rules/restrictions, provided occasional back up to host doing check ins, selling firewood and providing night time rounds.

In between Campground and/or RV Park seasons, I work independently as an audio consultant, and have experience in the RV industry working for a dealer in Quartzsite as a cleaner, audio/video installer and Jill of all trades.

My former life

Jan. 1986-Feb 2009

Fender Musical Instruments, Salaried, Quality Assurance Engineering Technician, Electronics (electro/mechanical) Corona, Ca.

Developed and documented detailed procedures for manufacturing and audio testing of musical instrument amplification and PA/Recording electronics. Designed and documented audio testing facilities for all manufacturing locations. Developed/documented quality standards and processes. Traveled to all facilities (US and Mexico) to assist manufacturing and raw materials suppliers with understanding and implementing quality standards. Assisted R&D in product development for manufacturing. Evaluated and provided standardized detailed reports on new products for performance, applications, safety conformance and manufacturability for domestic and overseas manufactured products. Trained personnel in product applications and testing. Managed both company and temporary personnel during short and long term special projects. Developed and assisted with development of long term and temporary changes for product improvement and/or mass rework/repair. Assisted customer service with individual consumer issues and service. Assisted marketing and Artist Relations with product demonstrations and trade show set ups and maintenance.

Misc

I have above average computer skills. Have basic HTML skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word etc.)
My experience in my former career, and as a homeowner, and from my early adult years as a retail store (Records/CDs) operator, along with extensive customer service experience provides a firm base for campground work.

My manufacturing background has solidly built consistent and systematic work habits and methods that can be applied to any task I might be assigned.

My RV is a clean 15 foot customized Kit travel trailer, tugged by a burgundy 2006 Jeep Liberty.

I am owned by two quiet beagles and a Tabby cat, all clean, healthy, well behaved and well traveled.
