by Eadie Regenburgh
(Houston, TX)

OBJECTIVE: Activity directors, registration clerks, guides, costumed docents, or retail clerks in National, State, Or Local Parks, Forest Preserves or destination camp ground.

SUMMARY OF WORKAMPING EXPERIENCE: Destination RV Park-Activity Directors, Camp Host, State Park Concessionaire-Tour Guide (Dick) Front Desk/Registration (Eadie)

ABOUT US: We are a non-smoking couple with great customer service skills, computer skills, and marketing/sales skills. We are also clowns, Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, storytellers and amateur photographers. We have experience as Activity Directors at a family oriented RV theme park, which we enjoyed very much. Dick has operated a Kubota tractor, pulling a hay wagon full of kids & adults, and has fed and cleaned up after animals in a "petting zoo". Eadie loves to interact with campers leading games, songfests and getting activities started.

Our experience includes camp hosting. As camp hosts, we registered guest, escorted to sites, cleaned restrooms and did outside maintenance. Dick has experience filling propane tanks.

In our most recent position, at the Custer State Park Game Lodge, Custer, S.D., we increase our customer service skills and used our story telling experiences to entertain customers and help keep children safe. Dick was a jeep tour guide and Eadie worked as a front desk clerk. Dick used his story telling experience to delight people taking the buffalo jeep safari from all over the world. Eadie used her story telling and customer service skills to help children be considerate of other guests as well as to remind both adults and children of safety around the park's wild animals. Eadie used a computer registration system and was responsible for balancing a cash register.

Dick is retired from NASA after 35 years as a manager in the procurement (purchasing) division in Houston. He also retired from Boeing, after 5 years managing their self governance department. Dick has great computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, MS Windows, and project management software. Eadie is a professional speaker with a background in staff training and development.

Our computer skills include MS office suite and reservation software. Eadie loves to prepare PowerPoint presentations and write documentation. She has also written for local news papers and has worked in advertising. Dick has Photoshop experience.

Both of us have community theater experience, and are trained professional clowns. We have been doing Mr. and Mrs. Claus for over ten years. Dick plays the sax and the guitar. We have traveled all over the world and have worked with people from many cultures. With great problem solving skills, and as owners of a small consulting company, we are used to doing any tasks that need to be done.

Our home is a 36 foot Country Coach Intrigue with a white GMC pickup truck as a dinghy. In November and December, we must be in Houston, TX for our Santa Claus business.

SPECIFIC WORKAMPING SKILLS: Customer Service, Cash Management, Computer Registration and Reservation, Maintenance (Dick riding lawn mower, tractor, jeep driver, restroom cleaning Propane filling) (Eadie weed eating, lawn mower, maintaining flower beds and planters) Cooking: Pancake breakfast and cookout assistance. Campfire story tellers.

Have a small dog named Chance 11 pounds- no teeth. Loves people and other dogs.
