Work Wanted Resume: David and Teresa Daly

A Dependable, honest, hardworking and motivated couple with a quiet, well behaved dog and excellent references seeking a position where we can usefully contribute our experience, time and energy. We are open to most possibilities and would balance all options for a suitable workamping position.

We 'hit the road' and became full time RV'ers in 2002 and have really enjoyed our travels and various workamping assignments along the way. We are semi-retired and both of us are team players but able to work on our own. We love meeting and helping people. We are familiar with computers and most business software. We are healthy and active.

After leaving his native England David lived and worked in many different environments. He has worked for Hotels and City Parks, as well as golf courses and resorts doing grounds-keeping mowing etc. In the United States he has enjoyed workamping for Campgrounds, RV resorts and marinas. He has worked in an office environment and outside doing grounds-keeping. His useful skills include basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical, and has excellent lawn care and landscaping ability. He loves weed-eating and mowing and knows propane dispensing. David also knows basic pool/spa care and has had some experience in security.

In his spare time he enjoys photography, painting/sketching etc. He still writes occasionally on a freelance basis for various travel and history magazines.

Teresa (from Texas) brings super organizational and clerical abilities acquired from her more than 20 years background in retail sales and the hospitality industry. She has excellent people skills and good experience in providing friendly and professional customer service. Teresa is efficient and organized in an office environment but is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and help out in other areas if or when needed. She is familiar with computer and business software including Quickbooks, Campground Manager, Ros and Parcs. She picks up new skills fast and is able to multi-task as needed. In her spare time she enjoys visiting garage sales for knick-knacks and collectibles. She also likes cooking and reading true crime books

Heidi is our 4 legged companion and our “baby”. She is a very quiet, friendly and well-behaved elderly dog and has lots of experience eating, treats and ice cream cones! Heidi really enjoys having her ears scratched and her tummy rubbed. Occasionally she likes taking long walks, but really prefers now taking even longer naps, and chasing "dream rabbits".
