Work Wanted Resume: David and Pat Veldhouse

Wanted Part-time Wrokamper Position - Hello, we are David and PJ (Pat) Veldhouse. Our objective is to find a part-time Workamper Position for FHU and amenities and/or wages in the southern states from Jan ? Mar 2009. We are previous fulltime RVers but had to put it on hold for awhile. We are now more than eager to get back to RVing and warmer winters. Previous Campground Experience includes the following:
Clarksville RV Park and Campground, Clarksville, TN (6/21/2006 - 7/31/2006)
David escorted campers to their site, outside maintenance, mowed, cleaned pool, cleaned facilities.
PJ input data for reservations into Reserve Write; Checked campers in/out, Worked store. Note: Had to leave early due to wife had surgery on knee in Morristown, TN.

Smokey Bear Campground, Gaitlinburg, TN (4/1/2006)
David worked outside maintenance, landscaping, mowing, plumbing repair, cut firewood.
PJ made reservations, processed cancellations and checked campers in/out; collected fees; performed customer service duties; worked in store; sent out mass mailing (handwritten post cards) to previous year's campers inviting them back with discounts.

Clewiston KOA ? Oct 2005 ? Jan 2006
David worked outside escorting RVs to their sites, dispensed propane, cleaned pool, general maintenance, light carpentry and equipment operator ? ZTR mowers; tractors w/front-end loader and rear end attachments (i.e. box blade, rake, bush hog and backhoe).
PJ worked in the front office making reservations using Kamp Sight and processed check-ins and check-outs, answered phones and store clerk. We arrived in Clewiston on Oct 14, 2005 and one week later we had to evacuate for Hurricane Wilma. We returned the next day after Wilma left to assist in major cleanup removing trees from the camp sites, cutting up tree limbs, raking, and returning the campground back to operational status.
Gulf Pines KOA, Milton, FL Oct 2004 ? Mar 2005
David worked outside escorting RVs to their sites, dispensed propane, cleaned pool, general maintenance, light carpentry and equipment operator ? ZTR mowers, tractors w/front-end loader and rear end attachments (i.e. box blade, rake, bush hog and backhoe). Also assisted with major cleanup efforts after Hurricane Ivan as well as assisted in adding additional RV sites and renovations of the tent areas. PJ worked at the front desk made reservations using Reserve Right and processed check-ins and check-outs, answered phones, and store clerk. Also, assisted manager with the daily balancing and daily/monthly reports.

Past Non-Campground Work Experience ? David Veldhouse
Kokopelli Golf Course, Marion, IL 04/2002 to 09/2004
Maintenance Worker. Mowed greens, fairways and rough areas, repaired sand traps, repaired cart paths and drives, and trimmed trees as needed. Maintained equipment in working order.
US Army Corps of Engineers in Kansas City, MO. 07/1984 to 07/2001
Geological DrillerOperated drill rigs and obtained ground samples for geologists and engineers. Operated backhoes, forklifts, end loaders, and bobcat type equipment. Performed general maintenance and minor infield repairs on drill rig and drill support vehicles.Past Non-Campground Work Experience ? Pat Veldhouse
9th Marine Corps District, Recruiting Command, USMC, KCMO (1978 ? 2000) Deputy Comptroller ? Budgetary Processes (15 mil plus per year) covering Headquarters and 9 Recruiting Stations; Supervisor accounts payable and payroll; responsible for civilian training; civilian liaison between Commanding Officer and Human Resources Office, proficient in Microsoft Office and other software programs/systems and related office skills.
