by Carol Rice

Hi, we are Carol and Steve Rice. We are 60 and 58 years old. We are in excellent health and are non smokers and non drinkers.

Our home is in Acworth Georgia but our hearts are all over the United States. We have retired and want to supplement our income with something we love to do like workamping. Steve has over 30 years of carpentry experience, as well as landscaping. Steve has received his certification in Animal Science and is familiar with farm animals of all kinds. Carol is self employed in a successful consulting business and we have owned a retail store and know all phases of purchasing, budgeting and sales. She is also computer literate and has excellent organizational and people skills. We are CPR adult, child and infant certified and first aid and AED certified. Our past experience as workampers has been at a resort in the North East Georgia Mountains for the last 4 years. Steve worked the stables, conducting trail rides, clearing and maintaining riding trails, taking care of the stables and of all phases of taking care of 16 horses. Steve is also certified in dispensing propane. Carol has worked the diner, amenities, country store, cabin reservations, and coordinating groups with activities for special events, taught bible studies and we have both taught country line dances as part of the activity program at the resort. We have also worked as activities directors in Arizona, organizing all activities for the guests at the campground such as, nature walks, pot lucks, event parties, game nights, weekly bible study, line dancing lessons, cookouts ,and beading classes just to name a few.
