Experienced diverse work camping couple seeks parttime position. Carl and Barb are experienced workampers looking for part-time positions around the US. We travel in a 30 ft 2004 5th wheel with our medium sized mutt, Petro, rescued from a local shelter 8 years ago.

Carl and Barb are experienced workampers looking for part-time positions around the US. We travel in a 30 ft 2004 5th wheel with our medium sized mutt, Petro, rescued from a local shelter 8 years ago.

We are open to all positions, experience including, but not limited to: hosting - office - reservations - campground master - sales - activities - grounds - cleaning - repairs - maintenance - pool - and construction. Our only restriction is hours worked. We want to have time to learn about and enjoy the area we are stationed at, so desire only part time positions. FHU desired in exchange for services provided.

Carl is a retired construction Forman with 30 years experience for Local 25 Ironworkers. He spent several years with the USN as an AME technician. He has experience and is highly skilled in construction, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and maintenance. He is considered a 'McQuiver' by locals and family as he can solve problems and develop solutions for almost any construction or mechanical issues. He is skilled at auto, boat, small engine repair as well as household appliances (never need to call repairman when Carl is around). Barb had a career as a therapist/Social Worker and specialty shop owner. Barb was director of a Boys and Girls Club cultural arts department, supervising staff along with planning and conducting activities for children and the public. She is experienced in public relations, fundraising, crafting, painting, customer service, receptionist duties, register and computers.

We have 6 children and 9 grandchildren spread through out the country. We enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, antiquing, museums, playing cards and many other things. We consider ourselves dependable, social, hard working people who like to keep busy. We enjoy people, are self motivated as well as team players who are in good physical shape with no restrictions. We both come from strong work ethic backgrounds and feel we have great people skills.

We like to work camp as it allows us to spend considerable time in one area getting a real feel for the community and, it keeps us busy. We are not limiting ourselves to particular seasons or locations as we want to see and do it all while our health is on our side. We consider ourselves quick learners and open to most positions. If you have a need for a hardworking couple to assist with you business we are happy to answer any questions and look forward to hearing from you regarding the positions you may have open.
