General Information
We returned to Maine for the Spring/Summer 2010 season - our third year of workamping. The campground is open from May to October and we are looking for a challenging position beginning in November.
We bring to any camp ground excellent customer service and total commitment to the overall mission. We strongly believe in being part of the team and perform all tasks as if the business were our own. Hard working and extremely reliable - willing to go the extra mile to ensure each and every guest leaves with a most favorable impression of their stay.
We take enormous pride in ensuring our camping facility is more than what any guest might expect. We are currently in charge of all landscaping and grounds maintenance at the Augusta/Gardiner KOA (over 80 sites) and have been involved in various projects (rebuilt a boat dock), erecting fences and performed other general maintenance functions as necessary.

Bill - Retired Master Chief Petty Officer - 30 year Navy veteran (1962-1992)
Retired Vice President MVLE – Non-Profit organization supporting individuals with disabilities
Experience included facility management, grounds maintenance, and various positions of middle/upper management.
Campground related experience/skills:
* Pool Maintenance - previously certified in state of Florida.
* Carpenter/Electrical - Extremely capable - rebuilt dock for KOA in Maine along with general carpentry repairs/maintenance. Trouble shoot and repair electrical issues at sites. Repair/replace and maintain water and sewer hookups at both RV sites and cabins.
* Advanced Computer skills - Experience in Microsoft Office and other supporting software. Working familiarity with Campground Master and KOA Kamp Sight application.
* Responsible for complete campground landscaping (teaming with Brenda), performed all ground and site maintenance at 80 sites and surrounding areas.
* Repair and maintain water system (PCV repairs, etc) to all sites to include gate valves, faucets and both above ground and buried water pipes.
* Operate tractor/backhoe/rake and lawn maintenance equipment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all support equipment.

Brenda - Retired Orthopaedic Medical Assistant
Experience included extensive customer service and administrative support to practice of 13 doctors.
Campground related experience/skills:
* Responsible for complete campground landscaping, hedge and bush trimming, weed whacking (teaming with Bill), performed all ground and site maintenance of 80 sites.
* Utilizing driving mower, ensured upkeep of entire campground grass areas and access roads.
* Performed daily/weekly cleanup of campground to include cleaning site fire rings, picking up any and all trash on sites.
* Cleaned cabins as necessary after guest check out.
* Advanced Computer skills - Experience in Microsoft Office and other supporting software. Working familiarity with Campground Master and KOA Kamp Sight applications.
* Assisted in front office responsibilities; escort guests to sites, helped monitor swimming pool activities and other tasks as requested.
