Looking for work as property caretakers in the Michigan, or Ohio area. Space needed: Rv is a 35 foot Class A Motorhome towing a 20 ft work trailer. Total length is 60 feet. Need electricity for both units, 50 amp service for the motorhome, and 30 amp service for the trailer.

We travel with an internet sign carving business which does not take up all our time during the summer months. We are willing to work for you 10 hours each to pay for our campsite. 20 hours total. We are not looking for positions with pay over the 20 hours, as we need that additional time to work our sign business.

Gary is proficient with mechanical skills. He can fix or clean just about anything. He has experience with mowers and other yard maintenance equipment.

Joyce has experience with office duties, and general cleaning and yard maintenance.

Previous experience:

2010 - Camp Hosts at Indian Lake State Park. Duties included checking visitors in, and collection of fees to enter park. Site clean up for 25 sites including fire pit clean out. Restocking of toilet paper during busy camping weekends. 20 hours per week was required.

2011 - Bastrop Texas, KOA. Gary did maintenance of all kinds. Cleaned cabins, including laundry, cleaned bathrooms, and exterior building staining. Everything the short owner needed a tall strong person to complete outdoors. 20 hours per week.

2012 - Terre Haute, Indiana, KOA. Gary did outdoor maintenance, cleaning and preparing sites for new campers, escorting campers to their sites. Emergency sewer clean out, emergency electrical service to the electrical posts. Pool maintenance. Propane tank refill. 16 hours per week for the campsite. 4 hours a week with pay.

Joyce worked the front desk checking in campers through the KOA Kampsite computer program. Filled propane tanks. Cleaned the lodge and bathrooms. Laundry for the cabins. Restocking of items for the Kamp store. Escorting campers to sites. Cookie baking, for arrival treats for campers. 16 hours per week.

2014 - Mercer County Fairgrounds. Both worked together as camp hosts, checking in after hours campers, and solving after hours emergencies. Watering of flowers for the entire fairgrounds 2x a week and daily during the heat of the summer. Monitoring dump site donations, and thwarting a thief from stealing the proceeds. 5-10 hours per week.
