Work Wanted: Fran and Jerry Spurlock
(Full-time RVing with a 38 Ft. 2014 Motorhome)
Hello, my husband and I are looking for a campground job in maintenance, security, office work or other positions in the Southwest for the winter season 2016-2017. We would be available until mid-April 2017.
Currently we have taken off for this past winter and summer because we wanted to travel. Last summer (2015) we worked at Fort Welikit Family Campground in Custer, S.D. I worked in the office checking in guests and taking reservations. The application used was Campground Master. My husband worked in general maintenance.
Our position the winter of 2014-2015 Oct-March was with Carefree Village Resort in Yuma, AZ. Both of us were in housekeeping.
Summer of 2014 - Campground hosts in the Santa Fe National Forest at El Porvenir.
Winter of 2013-2014 (October until early April) - Boot Hill RV Resort in Alamogordo, NM. I worked in the office with Campground Master and did light housekeeping and Jerry escorted guests and did maintenance.

Jerry is a Vietnam Vet with the US Marine Corps, after which he spent 38 years in the trucking industry. The last 12 years of that were spent with a major company out of Indianapolis, Indiana as Operations Manager for Import/Export of Hazardous Material SC.
I am a Medical Technologist/Clinical Microbiologist and worked at a medical university in SC for 24 1/2 yrs.
Both Jerry and I retired in early 2013 and became full-time RVers.
We have a 38 ft 2014 Class A motor home and trailer for a pickup truck and a motorcycle. We also have 3 small dachshunds.
