The Port of Douglas County is seeking proposals for a concessionaire at Orondo River Park during the 2012 season, April through October. Orondo River Park is jointly owned by the Port of Douglas County and the Chelan County PUD. It is located on State Route 97, approximately 3 miles north of Orondo, WA. It is a mid-sized park, set on a scenic stretch of the Columbia River, approximately five acres in size, providing day-use, RV and tent camping, boat launch, overnight moorage, marine fuel, and retail concessions. The Port seeks qualified proposals for the following three options for a concession agreement, listed in the Port’s preferential order: 1) operate and maintain the park entirely, including all concessions; 2) operate only the marina/retail concessions; 3) operate only the camping/day use concessions.
