WA: Timber Museum Volunteer
Forks Timber Museum, Forks, Washington
(Logging Capital of the World)
WA: The Forks Timber Museum located in Forks, Washington, known as the Logging Capitol of the World, is seeking a volunteer or volunteer couple for the summer 2016 season (May through September).
Volunteers will be asked to work three days a week or four days a week with one full week off each month in exchange for a full hook up site (water, sewer and electricity).
Duties will include: Staffing the front counter to greet customers, collect entry fees, answer questions and the telephone. Some light cleaning after closing will occasionally be required. Other duties may be asked of the volunteer by the museum Manager. These additional duties will be negotiated with mutual consent between the volunteer and the Manager.
The museum is staffed mainly by volunteers and some have been here for years. It is a relaxed enjoyable work environment and is more fun than it is work.
Interested persons should submit a resume with at least three references. Also they should include information about their RV (type, size, no. of slides, etc.). A picture is helpful but is not required.
For more information or to submit resumes, contact Joe Offutt at email@example.com.
