Travellers Rest Cabins and RV Park is a small resort located in Darby in the Bitterroot Valley of southwestern Montana. We are looking for part time managers of cabins and RV sites. Some of the work will be in exchange for your RV site. There will also be some paid time. We need a dependable couple who are non-smokers, team players, who are endowed with people skills, and who are in good physical condition. You would live on-site in your own RV, and fill in for the owners. Our work camper management position is very flexible. We, the owners, are on duty most of the time, leaving backup couple plenty of time to come and go as they please. In exchange for full hookups at Travellers Rest Cabins and RV Park, your duties include office time, lawn maintenance, light building maintenance, and occasional help with the laundry and watering plants. The office time is spent answering phone calls, making reservations and checking in guests. The only time spent in the office is to check in guests or to help a guest with a problem. Workers will be provided with cordless phone and intercom in their RV which means minimal sitting time in the office. Lawn maintenance requires mowing a couple of times of week at most on a zero radius riding lawnmower and monitoring the irrigation system. We would prefer the work campers' duties include cabin-cleaning for an hourly wage. In addition to relieving owners for a few hours each week, there will be times during the season that owners will want to get away for an extended period of time (long weekends or an occasional week break). At that time work campers will be required to take over management of the resort and will be paid in addition to the full hookup site.
