Sand Creek RV Park
Sand Creek RV Park is located in Wyoming, in the northeast corner of the state. One mile from South Dakota is a little town of Beulah, WY (Pop 33). Our park is a very small 12 RV site campground. We are looking for RVers to care for our park when we are gone. We leave a message on our land line saying we check it at 3:30 each day, so you would need to check the messages and call folks back if need be. You would take care of reservations, collect the money, and see that the showers and restrooms are clean each day. Most of our campers come in off the road 4 PM to say 7 PM., so someone needs to be around. We are looking for a couple to run Sand Creek RV Park so we can spend some time traveling during the summer months. We want to take some time off and go walleye fishing and go see our grandkids. But, we do not expect you have to be there all the time. We would coordinate schedules with you, except for around the 4th of July we need to go to a class reunion. Other than that, we can work it out. We are not asking for a lot of hours and are offering free camping from Memorial Day to the 15th of September. It is a beautiful spot right on Sand Creek (6000 trout per mile). We have many golf courses in the area. It is 22 miles to Deadwood, SD, and gaming; 40 miles to Devils Tower; and 55 miles to Mount Rushmore. This is only our second year having a camp host. We had a wonderful experience last year and would like to do it again in 2011. Here is a letter the folks we had last year gave us: To Whom It May Concern: You cannot find any better people than Gregg and Karen Forsberg. They do not ask you to do anything they wouldn’t do. They give you plenty of time off. They work with you. Camp hosting for the Forsberg’s is one of the best jobs you’ll ever have. The Black Hills is one of the prettiest places we have ever been. Gregg and Karen gave us plenty of time off to see the Black Hills, The Badlands, The Big Horn Mountains, and anytime we wanted to ride our motorcycle. Karen worked around me having to go to the doctor and both of us having to go to Ellsworth AFB to get our medicines. Camp Hosting for the Forsberg’s was a real pleasure. We hope to be able to Host in the future, and if anyone gets the opportunity to Host for them you won’t be disappointed.
