WA: Sage Hills Golf Club & RV Resort Seeks Work Camp Staff

WA: Sage Hills Golf Club and RV Resort is in Warden, WA, the heart of the Columbia Basin. We are looking for work camp staff and offer site and utilities, plus unlimited golf, including a cart.

This golf course and RV park provides a prime location amidst beautiful hills and valleys, and is surrounded by sand and sagebrush. Our resort is located 15 miles south of Moses Lake, 200 miles from Seattle (about a three hour drive), and 100 miles from Spokane.

We feature over 50 RV park sites that comfortably fit large and small rigs, including tents, ATV's, and boats. The park has large, open, clean, grass sites that come complete with power, water, and sewer connections. Ten units have telephone connections. The resort comes equipped with several amenities such as a heated pool, showers, and laundry services. We also provide on-site propane and large covered picnic areas for groups (clubs, tournaments, and reunions). The RV Park is open all year.

Our public, 18-hole championship golf course features 6,591 yards of golf from the back tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 74.2 and has a slope rating of 122. Sage Hills Golf & RV Resort opened in 1965 and continues to provide local and travelers alike with affordable and enjoyable golf. The course offers four sets of tees to challenge even the best golfers. Situated among the fairways are challenging sand bunkers and water ponds that meander through the landscape in gently rolling fairways. Sage Hills Golf Course is an oasis of green fairways, mature trees, and some of the best greens in Washington State. The course can be open all year, depending on the weather.

The Sage, our full-service restaurant, lounge, and outdoor terrace are destination points in themselves. There's no need to wait for a golf game to enjoy a casual meal or to meet friends for a refreshing drink. We have a meeting room where food service is available as well as TV's with VCR's.

We are close to many activities and events that happen throughout the year: wine tours, concerts in the park (Moses Lake), Surf n' Slide Water Park, The Gorge Concert Amphitheater, Summerfest (Royal City), car shows and collectables, city festivals, fishing tournaments, boating and water activities, and Columbia Basin Wildlife Refuge.

The weather in Warden is usually terrific, with 300 days of sunshine each year and an average annual rainfall of 7.8 inches. There is also plenty of hunting and fishing in the area.
