Desert Haven Animal Refuge, a no-kill sanctuary located between Albuquerque and Las Cruces, NM. Workampers help care for small domestic animals; assist with property maintenance; assist with various aspects of animal care; help with facility maintenance; work in the thrift shop; and may do community outreach. The sanctuary is located in the high desert country of NM along the Rio Grande River.
