Looking for work campers to assist with operating The Swan Lake NWR in Sumner, MO. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week each for a couple or 24-32 hour per week for a single in exchange for full camper hooks. You would be located in Lenoir City, TN, which is about 20 miles south of Knoxville. We always have more work than we can do and we need quality minded people to help us get the work done in the short time that is the holiday season. You will need to be able to climb a ladder, work some evenings, and be willing to do what it takes to get everyone's decorations up in a timely manner. You will need to be a team player and be very flexible. Training pay is $8 per hour. The starting pay after training is $9 an hour for all hours worked and overtime after 40. People are needed starting anywhere from October 1 - 15. The starting date is somewhat flexible. The season winds down around December 10, so you will be done in time to go home to your families if you wish. After New Years, we have to take down all the decorations we put up. If you want to work take down, you can work that too. You would just have to let us know if you wanted to work or not. There is bonus money available to help out with your site rent and we are looking for people who can take charge of a crew if/when they feel they are ready for that responsibility.
