This is a boat in campground with an access road for the host. This job has a new campsite that can accommodate up to a 20' trailer with water and sewer hookups. Sorry no electricity, but you can use your generator from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm. The site is free and the job pays minimum wage, up to 30 hours per week. Workamping Volunteer Camp Host Position At Tiger Bay State Forest, FL
Tiger Bay State Forest is a 27,396 acre forest located approximately seven miles west of Daytona Beach, Florida. Tiger Bay’s on-site camp host position is a volunteer opportunity. The volunteer camp host will help forest staff by providing excellent customer service to camp visitors and campers. Camp host duties include issuing camping permits for campers on the weekend and after office hours; greeting and providing information to visitors when regular forestry staff is unavailable; and assisting with light maintenance tasks throughout forest recreational areas. Applicants for this position must own their own camper and must be physically able to perform light maintenance tasks (i.e., emptying trash, posting flyers, some light painting and clean-up). Hosts contribute a minimum of 20 hours per week, per couple. This workamping position is available from October 2010 through April 2011. This is not a campground but a daily resort open to the public 5 days a week. When the resort is closed, you have the place to yourself. We are located off I-64 exit 28 in Milton, West Virginis, and have been in business over 30 years. During the closed hours of the resort, your responsibilities include keeping an eye on the facility. We have other positions you can work if looking for additional hours: weekend catering attendant, ticket sales, grill cook, or sports equipment attendant. Our resort offers a waterslide, swimming pools, paddle boats, kayaks, spray ground, putt golf, shelters, picnicking, catered company picnics, hot tub, basketball, tennis, volleyball, horseshoes and hot air balloon rides.
