Workamping (Volunteer) and Paid Positions: Help Wanted Ads Submitted In May

Workamping and employment seeking RVers, check out these jobs. These Help Wanted ads seek both volunteer and paid workers. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

TX: Full-time Position at TX Resort with Salary, RV Site, and Hook-ups
Active 700 space RV resort in south Texas seeking energetic, outgoing and fun loving couple as assistant managers. This is a paid, fulltime position. Must be willing to work a minimum of 10 months. SD: Front Desk / Housekeeping / Food Service / General in SD
Couple preferred, duties split between the two. General duties: opening or closing store, cleaning and restocking store, store sales, make coffee or popcorn, handle registrations and make reservations, pool maintenance, make pancakes for daily all you can eat pancake breakfast, clean bathrooms, cabins, laundry room and rec room, mow lawn, water plants, and pump propane. Physical requirements: must be able to hear and respond over the telephone; long periods of standing, walking, bending, and possibly kneeling; some lifting may be required. Job qualifications: general knowledge of computer operations. Compensation: free 30 Amp site for 20 hrs/wk per couple or 50 Amp site for 22 hrs/wk. Hourly wage paid for extra hours. TX: Workamping Position in TX at Park Rated 5-W by Woodalls
Located in the Bay City/Old Ocean, Texas, area, close to the Gulf of Mexico. We are rated by Woodalls as 5-W. We have all concrete pads, lodge, showers and restrooms, laundry, WiFi, Satellite, swimming pool, and hot tub. We are looking for a couple to work 20 hours a week (per couple) in exchange for free pad site and electricity. UT: Part Time Camp Host at Small RV Park in Kanab, Utah
"The Greatest Earth on Show." Workamping duties include public relations, check ins, taking reservations, and communicating with tourists about all the awesome beauty within minutes of our little town. There is no wage attached to these positions, just rent for 1-2 days/week work and the chance to meet interesting people from all over the world. OR: Assistant Manager Position for RV/retired Workamping Couple
Small RV/marina/mobile home park on Alsea River in Waldport, OR. Cover office alone two days a week, but work in office five days a week. Answer phones, take reservations, welcome guests, clean one set bathrooms, small cabin as needed, help with grounds work, light maintenance. NM: Workamper Needed for the Months of July 1 thru October 15
Small RV park in the southwest mountains of New Mexico. Must be a couple who enjoys the public. We have 19 sites, of which 10 are taken full time. We have a small office and 48 self storage units. Workampers must be capable of light office work, mowing, and weeding. Some mechanical knowledge is helpful. Work approx. 8-5 four days a week one week and three days the next week. TX: Texas: Campground & Ministry Seeking Work Campers
We are a Christian ministry with a brand new campground, looking for a Christian couple to assist with maintenance and camp host. We are located just 1 hour north of Houston, TX, in a wooded, rural setting, close to Lake Conroe, national forest, major medical, and shopping centers. We have 25 shady RV sites on a 2-acre lake and a lodge with WI-FI, full restrooms, laundry and bunk area. We have an additional 16 acres of fishing lakes. The duties include camp host, grounds maintenance, building cleaning and upkeep, and other various tasks. During the summer months, mowing and weed eating need to be done weekly. We offer a full-hookup for your RV with 30/50 amp service, WI-FI access, laundry, fishing, and hiking in exchange for a slow-paced, flexible schedule of about 20 hours a week each. No salary. KY: Pay for All Hours, Plus RV Site, in Daniel Boone National Forest in KY
American Land & Leisure presently has a job opening for a camphost in the Daniel Boone National Forest located on Laurel Lake in Kentucky. This is a boat in campground with an access road for the host. This job has a new campsite that can accommodate up to a 20' trailer with water and sewer hookups. Sorry no electricity, but you can use your generator from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm. The site is free and the job pays minimum wage, up to 30 hours per week. Job duties consist of collecting fees, cleaning 31 campsites, removing garbage, some mowing or weedeating, and maintaining seven vault toilets, along with a small amount of paperwork. A John Deere Gator is provided for transportation around the campground and for garbage removal. You get off one day a week, which must be on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday and job duration is from Memorial Day until Labor Day. If interested please contact Doug at 606-258-7281.
