This position carries out the daily duties of Netarts Bay RV Park & Marina park host by providing service to our customers and maintaining the facilities in a manner to promote our mission statement to offer our customers a clean, safe, comfortable, and friendly park that will enhance their vacation experience. June 1 – September 8, 2010, with extended dates possible, May 15-31, and/or September 8-15+. You would be the managers of the store in a small mountain resort in the Sierra National Forest about 75 miles northeast of Fresno, California, at Mammoth Pool. Must enjoy working with the public. The store has been a family oriented recreation facility for over 50 years. The job is a lot of fun and a lot of work when necessary. Must be able to lift heavy items such as cases of soda or beer when necessary. Need a can-do attitude and an ability to discuss ideas for improvement. General store duties include greeting and sales to the public; stock inventory; daily maintenance of store; register campground patrons; and interact with the campground manager. General restaurant duties include ability to cook short order meals between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; set up prep refrigerator; and daily maintenance of cafe. General store maintenance duties include mechanical, carpenter, plumbing, stock store, store maintenance, and keeping bathrooms clean and in working condition. Big plus if you know carpentry! We are in the process of upgrading and improving the premises. Busy time is July - August. During this time, both people would be required to work full time at 40 hours per week each.
