Arkansas RV Park Paid Position Available Now
The leading RV Park in the Little Rock, AR, area is accepting applications for a two person workamper team to bolster our staff for the upcoming season. Position is available now. This team will primarily be working directly with our guests, via reservations and registration, assisting with their stay in general. We have a small convenience store and 16 flavor ice cream parlor, and you will be the clerk for that as well. One member of the team will be responsible for propane fills. Team may be responsible for cleaning (Kabins and restrooms) on housekeeping's days off, no more than two days per week. Shifts will be about 6 hours, 4 days per week. We do ask for a 6 month commitment. Our excellent compensation package includes an hourly wage for all hours worked in addition to your full hook up (cable, wi-fi) RV site. Work This Fall Hanging Christmas Lights and Decorations
The job entails hanging/stringing lights, garland, setting up Christmas trees, and generally providing/installing what our clients want to decorate their homes/businesses. You would be located in Lenoir City, TN, which is about 20 miles south of Knoxville. We always have more work than we can do and we need quality minded people to help us get the work done in the short time that is the holiday season. This work is not hard, but it's not easy either. You will need to be able to climb a ladder, work some evenings, and be willing to do what it takes to get everyone's decorations up in a timely manner. After all, it's not like you can put off Christmas until later. :-) You will need to be a team player and be very flexible. Training pay is $8 per hour. There is about 3 days of training. The starting pay after training is $9 an hour for all hours worked and overtime after 40. The workweek is Monday - Saturday, no Sundays. People are needed starting anywhere from October 1 - 15. The starting date is somewhat flexible. Just call to discuss other starting dates. In the beginning, you will work about 25 - 30 hours a week. But as the season progresses, (right around November 10), you will get as many hours as you can stand. The season winds down around December 10, so you will be done in time to go home to your families if you wish. After New Years, we have to take down all the decorations we put up. If you want to work take down, you can work that too. You would just have to let us know if you wanted to work or not. There is bonus money available to help out with your site rent and we are looking for people who can take charge of a crew if/when they feel they are ready for that responsibility. If you feel you are a bit more agile, and are not afraid of heights, the starting pay for people who can safely climb on steep roofs is $12 an hour. This work is very rewarding. Couple With Class A Motorhome Needed In Colorado Park
Position available for 2009 in Pagosa Springs, CO for a non-smoking couple with a class-A motor coach. We are a small 27-site class-A motor coach park located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We open each May and close in mid October for guests, and close the park for the year on Oct. 31, after all shutting down and winterizing has been done. We have a "Couple-park host" position available. The work week would consist of 4 days on and 3 days off each week. While on duty, you would be responsible for all aspects of the park operation; office and light repair and maintenance. There is little to repair as the park is fairly new, however in Colorado there is always wood staining to do and grounds work (mowing and weedeating). We have a routine for departures and arrivals, as far as site preparation and clean up. The office work is standard check in and check out, and the couple must be computer literate in order to be trained on our reservation system. The phones are minimal. The inside cleaning is done by the couple on duty each day and consist of cleaning the restroom facilities, used mainly by staff, and the clubhouse which is used occasionally, as well as maintaining the hot tub located on the office/club house deck . The owners are usually around and cover the 3 days that the host couple are off duty. The city of Storm Lake, Iowa, is looking for a couple to work with us this summer. It is pretty easy work. It does get busy the three holiday weekends and fairly busy on regular weekends.
