Workamper and Employment Ads: Help Wanted Classifieds Submitted In January

Workamper and paid employment Help Wanted ads. These include both volunteer positions and jobs that pay wages. Some – but not all – of the jobs are at campgrounds and RV resorts.



All of these Help Wanted classifieds were submitted in January 2010.

FHU RV Site, Pay for Hours Over 20, Bonus for 6 Months, in TX
Needed: experienced workamper couple. Expanding park and under construction. Need plumbing and mechanical skills with wife experienced in office, computer literate, and cleaning restrooms. Experienced in mechanical and landscaping a plus. We offer a FHU site with WI-FI, 20-30-50. Site for first 20 hours and $7.50 per hour for all extra hours. Stay for 6 months and receive a $0.50 per every hour worked bonus. Work can be up to 40 hours per week during construction. Located near the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas. RVing Ranch Host and Maintenance Workamper Needed in TX
Single person or couple RV workcamping rancher needed to help host and maintain a small ranch in south central Texas. Located off Interstate 10. This is a great position for hosts who own their own horse and can enjoy the beautiful countryside. Duties may include some minor fence repair, checking cattle, riding tractors, or site seeing and maintaining the ranch. Prefer someone with their own recreational vehicle, 5th wheel or trailer. Site, Monthly Wage, End of Season Bonus Summer 2010 in WA
Need mature workamper couple for summer in the pacific northwest. Small beachfront, eight unit motel and three vacation beach homes in Moclips, Washington. Mid June to Mid September 2010. Clean, laundry, lawn work, light office. Must be able to work as a cleaning team to carry out tasks in a timely manner. Must be able to work flexible hours and days, scheduled according to guests' departures. Workdays start no earlier than 10 am and finish by 4 pm. Exception, may be asked to handle office for one or two hours one or two days a week. Must be able to handle stairs as motel is two stories and some of the rental homes have three flights of stairs. Motel is pet friendly, so must like dogs. Ocean view RV site to include water, electric, and sewer hookup. No TV hookup at site. Site is only a few hundred feet from the motel and the vacation homes. Additional monthly salary of $500.00 per couple. Average 20 to 25 hours per week total for couple. End of season bonus of $500.00 if full season is worked. On days where we have no cleanings or minimal cleanings you will have days off together to relax or take day trips. Many small beach towns with restaurants and shops to explore. Work for RV Site in Canada, Summer 2010
Work campers wanted at small campground on the St. John River in New Brunswick, Canada. Needed is a duo campground assist team for all or part of the 2010 camping season (May 1 - October 11) who are interested in working in exchange for a site at our campground. Duties include mowing, general cleaning, checking guests in and out, etc. This is a beautiful, quiet place. Timberline Valley RV Resort in Anderson, Indiana, is looking for workamper couples from May 1 thru Oct. 1, 2010. Hours 30/wk. Duties include, but not limited to: clerking/reservations, escorting, cleaning, grounds keeping, and maintenance. Long-term Campground Assistant Managers Job with Site and Salary in NE
Hastings Campground and RV Park is looking for a working asst. manager team for long term employment. FAU camp on the Corbet Wildlife Management Preserve, located in the Everglades, west of West Palm Beach and North of Loxahatchee has room for more workampers. Campground is looking for a couple to work as asst. managers. We would prefer experienced but will train the right team. Must be able to run store / office, making reservations collecting rents, cleaning clubhouse, etc. The other team member would do all general maintenance, snow plowing, lawn maintenance (summer), painting, cleaning, all around handy person. BBQ Grill Cooks and Managers Needed in NV Summer 2010
Looking for part-time to full time cooks/mgrs, from May 2010 thru August 2010. Possible permanent positions as the business is expanding before the end of the year. A solar plant will be opening and mines are re-opening. This is in Nevada, seven miles from the entrance to Death Valley, on the California/Nevada border. You must be capable of getting a Sheriff's Card in order to work at the Historical Stateline Saloon building in Amargosa Valley, NV. Presently, we have the saloon, café, and tavern going. The camping cabins will be in between March and April, and the hotel will be in by the end of the year. MH park needs a responsible couple to oversee MH park on the Rio Grande. Located 30 miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico. 18-hole golf course across the street. Can park RV on site. POSITION FILLED Workamp in The Mountains of Montana Beautiful, top rated Good Sam park located in Saint Regis, Montana, seeks workamping couples to help us run our 50 site park. We provide a very nice FHU site, 50 amp service, free wi fi (that works!), free laundry, and propane in exchange for 24 hours worked per week per couple (12 hours each). Sorry, we are unable to offer wages at this time but we can offer you a great place to spend next season in one of the best locations in Montana. General duties include the couple to work together as a team to be responsible for providing an incredible camping experience to our guests.
