Professional Organizers Help Others Take Control Of Their Time and Space

Professional organizers help others get organized. Okay, but just what does that really mean? And, can you do it while full-time RVing?

The answer to the second question is easy – Yes! It is a very mobile career, compatible with full-time RV life and travel. What's more, you can do it at the same time you are holding down a volunteer workamper position.

The answer to the first question is that they make money helping others get control of their time and their space. They can do this in a variety of ways, many that you can do from your RV.

Professional organizers help others get their personal or business space in order. They also help with time and paper management. They may also work to motivate their clients, helping them reach their goals.

Some work hands-on, physically sorting, straightening, and categorizing things. They find places for things and help the client come up with ways to keep those things in those places. They may specialize in paper control, such as filing and records management. As an RVer, you might specialize in organizing RVs or campground offices.

Others are moving specialists. They do everything from packing to helping their clients feel at home once they have relocated. Others may run errands or work as personal shoppers.

Another area of professional organizing is coaching and working as consultants. These coaches may do computer consulting or teach classes. They may lead seminars or workshops. They write newsletters and books, do web and teleclasses, and consult by email. You can do these things as you travel.

You don't need special training or certification to get started. You don't need a lot of money to get started. You can do this work anywhere your RV takes you. You can set your schedule to include a lot of organizing jobs or just a few. It's flexible.

If the idea of getting paid to help someone put their closet, cupboard, or filing cabinet – or entire office, home, or RV – in order appeals to you, this may be just what you are looking for. You would probably work as a business owner, rather than employee.

Marie Garcia is one highly profitable and highly respected professional organizer. She has a free newsletter, as well as a website, and several books. If you are looking for specifics, she has them for you. This link will take you to her site.
