Mystery State Park

We got our start in Illinois at a state park that has a big statue, has about 80 electric sites, and tent sites. At most any given time it is usually full on week-ends. Most of the campers are locals, but many also are from many miles from the area. The staff people are very nice. There is a very nice town close by with many stores to make everyone feel we/come. We hosted there for four years and really did not want to leave. But, our dream was to travel, and to see other parts of the USA. We are hoping to return to that park in spring of 2011, because we miss the people and the park. Also how well it's kept so clean, something hard to find in private parks.
