Magnetic Car Signs

(Bob C. asks... )

Would magnetic car signs for services or products that could be sold in campgrounds be a problem with management? Like Watkins products or small appliance repair, maybe?

Coleen, the working while RVing editor replies:

Hi Bob,

I've never come across (or heard of) any campground that objected to them. They are low key enough that they aren't usually seen as actively soliciting. I see many magnetic signs, as well as decals and lettering, on vehicles in campgrounds.

Car signs and graphics do work to solicit business. They work not only in the campground where you stay, but throughout the community. People see them over and over again, so there's the value of repetition. And, using them is an easy way to gently remind people of you and your business.

One advantage of magnetic car signs and some of the vinyl car decals is that they are removable. In case there is a problem, you can remove them without damaging them or your vehicle. Then, you can put them back on when you are ready to do so.
