Long Ravine Resorts
Long Ravine Resorts, Colfax, CA, has volunteer camp host positions. Camp host couples wanted for beautiful lakeside resort in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our beautiful, forested, and busy campground encompasses about 100 sites, along with a marina, beach, and restaurant on Rollins Lake at 2400’ elevation, below the major snow line and above the smog. We have three positions available, one or two couples to start as soon as possible, with the other to begin in April 2011. Our peak season runs from about mid-May through mid-September. Each position requires approximately 20 to 25 hours per week. Duties are maintaining about 30 campsites, keeping the associated restrooms and grounds clean, helping with various projects occasionally, and positively interfacing with the campers in your assigned area. Applicants must have their own RV, possess good customer service, communication, and social skills, be positive, clean, friendly, organized, reliable, be good team members, and work well with others. Pets are welcome but you must keep them on leash and pick up after them. Some experience in maintaining a busy campground during its peak season is preferred. No substance abusers or alcoholics need apply. Background checks may be performed along with random drug screens. This is not a pay position, but does include your own full hook up site, free Wi-Fi at our restaurant, meal discounts, and use of campground amenities.
