Long Ravine Resort on Rollins Lake
Diane of The Engelstad Team
Long Ravine Resort is a marina, store, grill, and RV and tent campground at Rollins Lake in Colfax, California. Water skiing and sports enthusiasts love Rollins Lake with its 26 miles of shoreline.
The two large fingers of Rollins Lake are perfect for water skiing, while the calm coves are fishing havens. To the delight of anglers, bass, German brown, catfish, crappie, perch, and bluegill are abundant in Rollins Lake. The lake is stocked regularly with rainbow trout.
Long Ravine Resort is conveniently located in rustic northern California. We are between the Sierra Foothills, between Sacramento, California and Reno, Nevada. We're less than 10 minutes off Interstate 80. With an elevation of 2300 feet, we are perfectly placed among the pine and oak forest just below the snow line. It is beautiful.

We have work camper positions available for friendly, dedicated, volunteer work campers at Long Ravine Campground. Our work campers are expected to work a minimum of four hours a day, five days per week. In exchange for working, you receive your full hook up R.V. site, use of facilities, and the fantastic peacefulness of the pines of Northern California at Rollins Lake.
Work camper duties can consist of camp host, site clean-up, cleaning restrooms, meeting and greeting guests, some light campground maintenance, and a variety of other jobs as the need arises.
Long Ravine Resort is mostly a tent campground, with eight full hook up R.V. sites, plus the Outrigger store, cafe, and marina. Our amenities also include a boat launch, boat slips, boat rentals, hiking trails, swimming beach, picnic areas, group party areas, and of course, camping in the peaceful atmosphere within the pines. Rollins Lake is popular and we are very busy on weekends in the summer.
