Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge 2008

Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge and Campground is a motorcycle resort located Stecoah, NC. We are a smaller niche oriented resort with lots of workamper and guest amenities.





We take pride in being a leader in our resort business. The quality of the resort reflects our commitment to making a vacation experience like coming to a second home.



We are in western North Carolina, connected to the Smoky Mountains. We have been in business for six years, and 2010 will be our seventh.

We have a 39-acre resort, large activities pavilion, cabin rooms, full modern and new cabins, RV sites for workampers and guest, tent camping. There's a full restaurant on the premises, which serves breakfast and dinner.

We have campfires every night along side of a rushing trout stream. The grounds are well maintained, lighted, and safe. Our roads are newly paved and easy access to major highways in the area.

Besides rental cabins, we have lots for sale. Guests can build private cabins to enjoy the mountain resort lifestyle.

Motorcycle Campground Niche

Hi John,

I'm guessing you have special activities going on for riders. If you'd like to add more info here, that would be great. I know we have motorcycle riders among our readership.

Please let us know more about your staffing needs and what work opportunities you have for RVers. Do you require that they have a bike?
Nice Place to Stay or Work

Before getting into workamping, my wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Ironhorse. The owners are very nice and cater to motorcycle enthusiasts. It is very clean and they serve good food.

If it were not for having to work in food service, we would probably apply there.
