S.W.E.A.T.
by: Terry

Coleen,

S.W.E.A.T. is the Society of Workers in Early Arts and Trades.

See: sweatrag.org

We period dress and demonstrate our art/trade at
various events in the southeast. We just came
from Stephen Foster State Folk Culture Center in White Springs, FL and participated in the Florida
Folk Festival recently.

An Idea! Let's Capture Life Experiences and Histories
by: Wayne McMinn

Like many in my age bracket, 73, I have literally "been there, done that" in life.

I believe there are untold numbers of folks whose life experiences and stories need to be heard and recorded. It's the kind of history that generally doesn't make the books ... but each is unique and worth saving.

If you see value in this idea, please contact me and lets discuss some ideas I have for doing it.

Be well,
Wayne McMinn malomac@yahoo.com

Thanks, Terry! Tell Us More...
by: Coleen

Hi Terry,

That's a terrific photo! That is you at work, isn't it?

Would you please tell us more about yourself and your work? I've never heard of S.W.E.A.T. before, but it sounds like an intriguing organization.
