Dollywood's Work Camper Picnic We offer seasonal full-time and part-time positions. We are located in Pigeon Forge, TN. We are 10 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is the most visited national park in the US. Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country are not your ordinary amusement and water parks. We are fortunate to be able to take advantage of the natural beauty of East Tennessee, while providing a park that caters to adults, teens, and youth. We offer a great variety of shows, rides, attractions, restaurants, and crafts at the parks. The theme park's website has an Employment section that you may find very helpful. It includes a list of jobs that are currently available. It also has an entertainment audition section. Both children and adults audition for positions. You'll find auditioning requirements and instructions for submitting an audition DVD, as well as the audition schedule. When you are in the Entertainment Audition section, look for the Audition Requirements link. What you find there may surprise you. Not all of the positions in this section are for actors or musicians. It also has information for experienced stage managers, stage hands, light technicians, backstage dressers, spotlight operators, and more. Having theme park or professional theater experience is a plus. Of special interest to our readers may be the Work Camper's Guide. It covers such things as the physical requirements, scheduling of work campers, training, and some of the benefits. It answers common questions RV workers have about car pooling, length of shifts, breaks and meals, weather and temperatures in the area, and other typical things you'd want to know when considering a position.
