Disney calls many of its employees Cast Members. They work at Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland in California, and at other Disney properties. They have clearly laid out dress and appearance requirements.

Cast members may be eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage, plus paid vacation and sick leave. All Cast Members receive theme park admission and discounts at select dining, merchandise, and recreation locations. RVers often report that these admissions and discounts are worth more than the hourly wages.

You'll often hear people talk about "working for the mouse," a reference to Mickey Mouse, of course.

Disney has multiple websites and resources with employment information.

Here's the link to what seems to be the primary site for employment at Disney. You'll find job descriptions, including the hourly pay rates. There's also a job application on the site, and you can apply online. http://www.disney.go.com/DisneyCareers/wdwcareers/hourly/index.html.

You can also sign up to receive the Disney job announcement bulletins by email.

They have a Walt Disney World Jobline. The phone number is 407-828-1000
