Companion Animal Rescue Rehab Center

(from Harriet Vurtelle )

Companion Animal Rescue Rehab Center has an immediate need now in western Montana. We are seeking compassionate, creative, dedicated, and trustworthy individuals and couples to assist in the opening of a non-profit, rehabilitation center for rescued companion animals with special needs.

We would appreciate a few hours volunteered, five days a week, in return for site and utilities and negotiated pay for specific project work. Two days off each week.

Please be smoke, drug, and addiction free, kind and patient, and of good health and cheer. Both short term and long term assistance is needed.

Sorry, no human children at this time.

Your fur, fin and feather children are welcome at the Companion Animal Rescue Rehab Center.

Specifically, we need help in the following areas: daily animal care and related skills, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting (just the basics), landscaping and gardening, computer, record keeping, and organizational skills.

Companion Animal Rescue Rehab Center is located in western Montana in the banana belt. It is a beautiful area in the heart of the national forest, nestled in a mountainous canyon and on a creek. We experience winters and some snow, although the winters have been mild the past few years. Workers-on-wheels, who have been here through winters in the past, have been from Mexico and the Southern USA and have fared well.

An exceptional worker-on-wheels joined us, but unfortunately had to leave due to a family emergency.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and what your needs are to be rewarded in a position. Your contact information, including a phone number, is appreciated. We can provide more detailed information and are happy to answer any questions.

If you inquired about our ad last spring, our direction has changed slightly, but our mission is the same and all inquiries will be responded to.

On behalf of the paws and hooves, your consideration is appreciated.

Happy Howl-a-days!
