CA and UT: American Land & Leisure manages over 400 campgrounds in 12 states for the Forest Service. We have salaried employment available for Workers On Wheels RVers.
American Land & Leisure has an immediate need for area managers in the mountains of Northern and Central California and in Utah in three beautiful canyons in the Salt Lake area.
The ideal people will have previous camp hosting and/or area manager experience. A strong maintenance and business background will be helpful. Computer skills (MS Office and email) are helpful, but not necessary. You will be responsible for the company’s relationship with our partner (Forest Service or Pacific Gas & Electric) in your area. You will be responsible for the success of all of your employees.
This is a working position. You will be working in the campgrounds alongside the camp hosts doing, among other things, landscaping, site cleaning, handling customer complaints, and scheduling employees for work.
On a weekly basis you will collect all of the monies collected by your employees and make bank deposits of those monies.
A large part of your work will involve maintaining the water systems in your campgrounds.
This is a salaried position.
The length of the season will vary depending on where you go, but will typically be from mid-April to mid-October.
